Jade Aca

Welcome! I’m Jade Aca, a 15-year-old German artist based in Mexico, creating expressive, often serene acrylic, oil & watercolor paintings mainly inspired by portraiture, still life & nature. Here I hope to share my ever evolving, yet vibrant artistic journey

Alma Floreciente

πŸ”Ž My intention is to portray a woman who grows from within, creating something symbolic of personal growth, mental liberation, and reinvention. I worked on it for a whole month, and each day I returned to it, I was a different person. In the final piece, I love being able to see how the artist behind it has grown and changed along with it

Guardiana de los Cielos

πŸ”Ž Ever since I was little, I have loved the artistic style of Baroque and Renaissance, therefore this inspired oil painitng allowed me to gain a deeper appreciation for the masters like Michelangelo, and DaVinci. It definitely holds a special place in my heart

El JardΓn Secreto

πŸ”Ž Combining realism and subtly reaching into impresionism, I use one of my favorite color palettes to express the comfort of having childhood memories (such as the swing) that carry on to bring joy into adulthood

Escape

πŸ”Ž In this acrylic & oil painting, I really try to express feelings of intense emotion, the relief after just having screamed, or gotten weight off of your shoulders. The sensation of having Escaped

African Sunset

πŸ”Ž I painted this watercolor painting when I was 12, dedicated to my mother for her birthday. It took me about an hour or two, but she is a big elephant fan, so I wanted to make it special for her. ❀️

Little Bambi

πŸ”Ž This is my whimsical watercolor depiction of a doe somewhere deep in the forest, where I really aim to give it a real warm, stoybook feel to it, the story of where a deer lives in harmony

Max Peace

πŸ”Ž This is a watercolor, watercolor pencil, acrylic and ballpoint pen portrait of Max Igan. The truthseeker, whistleblower and the man trying to reach maximum peace in this world.

Asombro

πŸ”Ž The word "Asombro" in Spanish translates to "Astonishment" in English. This watercolor & pen painting is where I try to depict the beautiful child-like wonder and curiosity that still lives inside of all of us

Vitality

πŸ”Ž Here I depict a young lady in an underwater scene, in which I strive to express what it feels like to have vitality.

Mi Escondite Secreto

πŸ”Ž Living in MazatlΓ‘n, Mexico, I felt an amazing sense of home and fell in love with the culture, food, people, etc. So that's exactly what I dedicated this acrylic painting to

Two Bouquets

πŸ”Ž This painting depicts a young lady with a bouquet in her hair and how inside, she is a blossoming bouquet herself

Street Light Love

πŸ”Ž In this acrylic painting, I really like the way the colors give off that "glow in a deep sea" vibe with cool colors all around and the nice warm street light colors popping out at you. I hope you like it!

Ecstasy

πŸ”Ž In this watercolor, gouache & ballpoint pen painting, stands a young lady at the edge of a cliff with freedom and Ecstasy. Thanks to Maxfield Parrish for inspiring me!

Inner Growth

πŸ”Ž Painting on this large 40x60cm canvas was a breakthrough for me at the time, painting over my intimidation of large canvases with love, with the roses representing the way passion makes you grow from within

Perla Divina

πŸ”Ž This is a work dedicated to the charm of this city in Mexico, MazatlΓ‘n. A place they call "The Pearl of the Pacific". With each brushstroke and figure representing another facet of the pride, culture, and beauty of the beach town that fascinated me ever since I arrived as a child

I'll be with You

πŸ”Ž This painting took me about an hour or two and painted it in Acapulco. I think it indirectly describes that feeling when you fall asleep next to your easel, piano, etc. The hobby will always be with you.

Cozy Bliss

πŸ”Ž This is a painting that I made in participation to the "El Arte del CafΓ©" art challenge that took place in Rico's CafΓ©, in Olas Altas, MazatlΓ‘n, Sinaloa and won the award as "Youngest Artist", since I participated at the age of 14

The Bridesmaid

πŸ”Ž I painted this watercolor & ballpoint pen painting in my sketchbook when I was 13 years old, but still wanted to catch that lady-like-ness in it.
